Request a place on a free training course!
Following the success of the first course in July – superbly led by villager Emma Hunt on behalf of “Heartstart” (a British Heart Foundation initiative) – we have arranged two new dates this autumn.
We are fortunate to have a defibrillator at the Village Hall and we are equally fortunate never having needed to use it so far. The machine has been there for some years and these courses – which are for groups of 12 parishioners – will brief you on how to use the machine and about other emergency protocols – e.g. how to cope with a bleeding or choking patient or with someone who is unconscious.
The sessions will start at 7.30 pm and will last for two to two and a half hours. The two new sessions available are:
- Friday 29th September ….we’ve done this one!
- Monday 6th November
and places are still available.
The events are restricted to parishioners and there will be no charge to participants as the Parish Council and the Village Hall committee are sponsoring the events for the benefit of the village.
Places need to be reserved in advance so please use Contact Us to let me know you’d like to come. Alternatively, phone me on 07902 798162.
