Being a Councillor – a short overview:
As a councillor representing your community, you will help keep Kingston Seymour it a great place to live and work.
You should have a positive outlook and a can-do attitude and be willing to work as part of a team.
You will be supported in your role and will undertake some training. You should be comfortable working electronically.
If you are interested, please read the below sections and email me (Steve Dixon – Parish Clerk) if you have any questions – email@example.com or use the Contact us form on this website
Update – 8th March 2019
North Somerset Council have now “branded” the application form and advice pack and that is now available here.
The closing date for receipt of nomination is 4pm Wednesday 3rd April. This is immovable and they must be delivered by hand to Weston Town Hall.
Please note that Kingston Seymour is not “warded”, there are seven Councillor positions available and, historically, “parties” have not been a feature in this Parish.
