Recycling Centres

I have received this reminder from NSC

We are aware the household waste and recycling centres are exceptionally busy at the moment which is often causing significant queuing. It would be very helpful if you could share the message that the recycling centres are open for essential journeys only, and restrictions and social distancing are in place to ensure everyone’s safety. There are limits on the number of people allowed on site at one time, please turn off engines while waiting and avoid the trip if it isn’t essential.

The centres are now on “summer” hours (until 30th September 2021.  These are:

Portishead

08.00 – 16.00  Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Closed               Tuesday

10.00 – 18.00   Thursday

09.00 – 18.00   Saturday

09.00 – 17.00    Sunday (and Bank Holidays)

Backwell

10.00 – 16.00   Monday, Tuesday and Friday

Closed               Wednesday, Thursday and Bank Holidays

09.00 – 16.30   Saturday

Weston operates different hours. Please consult the NSC website.
